2300 B.C.E, | MESOPOTAMIA- Animal Myths is a series of mixed-media drawings that depict human and non-human animal hybrids. Animal Myths is inspired by the idea of what a animal/non-human belief system might look like and imagines the myths in such a system, the dreams that animals would dream, and the stories they would tell themselves about who they are and where they come from.

My Grandfathter was a Leaf
My Grandfater was a Leaf is a video project currently in the planning stages that examines the mysteries hidden in my family tree. The project will also explore such question as how photos depicting ancestors and realitives connect one to a larger oral and textual history, and how a single photo might create a sense of belonging and provide the holder a family myth.
